Therapy

Welcome.
I work with therapists/caregivers, queer folks, those practiced in meditation, and anyone seeking to deepen clarity, confidence, and connection to themselves. Weekly therapy is a space to come home to your body, listen to your parts and internal system, and feel held in your healing journey. Please reach out if you are interested in exploring meeting together for weekly therapy.

  • Initial Therapy Sessions

In our first few sessions, we will focus on an initial evaluation: exploring your goals, needs, presenting concerns, and aspects of your identities and lived experiences. Therapy is collaborative and evolving, and I welcome your transparency and feedback throughout.

These early sessions are also a space to ask questions, explore what therapy might look like together, and begin sharing more of your story. Together, we’ll discern whether I’m the right fit to support you.

I hold particular experience with clients who identify as LGBTQ+ and/or female, and have worked with young adults, children/teens, and postpartum clients. I'm always open to conversations about what helps you feel cared for and seen in the experience of being you.

If we decide to move forward, we will establish a schedule and frequency. I respond to emails on weekdays and return phone calls within two business days.

  • Session costs & Policies

    Below are my session rates

    Initial intake session is $250
Standard 45 to 60-minute psychotherapy session is $195 for an individual
Reports and correspondence with other professionals: $230/hour

If you cancel an appointment, please give me notice as soon as possible by email or phone. You must give at least 24 hours notice to avoid the full session fee. I create an invoice to bill the card on file through the client portal.

I ask that clients who cancel sessions more than two consecutive sessions in a row provide communication about the reason and check-in about details and fit for meeting. This is to ensure my time and the realities of what is impacting attendance for sessions is acknowledged and honored.

  • Insurance & More

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I currently do not bill insurance companies directly. Some insurance plans will partially reimburse you for the cost of sessions with an out-of-network provider. As a client, you are responsible for the payment of all session fees. Clients store a credit card on file through my EHR (Simple Practice) and enroll in AutoPay, which will charge your card overnight for your full invoiced balance due.

Sessions are paid by credit card, securely stored on file through my Electronic Health Records system.

The therapy I provide is not crisis counseling. If you are in an emergency and need to speak to someone immediately, you may call 911, the BEST team at 1-800-981-HELP (4357), or go to your nearest support or emergency service.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the law, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Patients who are not using insurance are entitled to an estimate of the expected charges for psychotherapy and medical treatment. You can ask your provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
