Therapy
Therapy can be a space to come home to your self, listen to your parts and internal system, and feel held in your healing journey.
I offer hour-long weekly therapy sessions, or therapy Intensives, which are extended therapy sessions. I began offering intensives after hearing the need for more spacious therapy sessions and seeing the shift for clients with longer sessions. My weekly therapy availability is limited and I schedule therapy intensives on a rolling basis. Please reach out through my contact form if you’d like to set up a meeting.
FAQs

I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which explores different aspects of oneself. As fitting, I incorporate the Healing Our Core Issues model to address developmental and relational trauma and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for targeted trauma treatment. During the initial consultation, we collaborate to determine the best approach and process for the therapy intensive, ensuring a tailored and effective experience for you

I offer intensives by video. This allows for flexibility in terms of scheduling, location, and timing. There is an option for in-person (in Cambridge, Massachusetts). Please reach out to me by email or schedule a consult call to discuss any questions

Initial intake session is $250
Standard 45 to 60-minute psychotherapy session is $195 for an individual hour
Reports and correspondence with other professionals: $230/hourIf you cancel an appointment, please give me notice as soon as possible by email or phone. You must give at least 24 hours notice to avoid the full session fee. I create an invoice to bill the card on file through the client portal.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I currently do not bill insurance companies directly. Some insurance plans will partially reimburse you for the cost of sessions with an out-of-network provider. As a client, you are responsible for the payment of all session fees. Clients store a credit card on file through my EHR (Simple Practice) and enroll in AutoPay, which will charge your card overnight for your full invoiced balance due.
Sessions are paid by credit card, securely stored on file through my Electronic Health Records system.

A therapy intensive provides a dedicated block of time to focus on processing and healing. Rather than space therapy out with one-hour weekly sessions, intensives allow for a specific piece of therapeutic work to happen in a concentrated amount of time. They are offered a pre and post-session for planning and integrating. The recommended starting intensive commitment includes 9 contact hours, and we revisit the agreement during the work. Some examples for intensives is it can allow you to:
Clear relational and developmental trauma, so you can understand your early attachments and ‘arrange the furniture’ when reflecting on your impactful early life experiences
Support you to feel more connected to your self, to find a more compassionate, connected relationship with your internal world and connect to your Self through Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Target a specific, focused behavior, challenging belief or distressing experience with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
This is not crisis work. I refer to appropriate sources for crisis treatment.

There is a specific topic you would like to focus on in therapy (such as an event, move, or life change) or there is a chronic challenge you are seeking support for. There may also be an issue or trauma that arose and it's been recommended to get more focused support, including that your current therapist recommended further adjunctive trauma-informed treatment.
For therapy intensives, I often see professionals trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) who are seeking some experience with their own IFS or EMDR therapy. I also often meet with individuals who have regular weekly therapists or have in the past and are seeking out an intensive for adjunctive support or have been seeing me for regular weekly therapy. All that to say, intensives can take place in conjunction with regular, weekly therapy
